About Spring/Summer Programs

Home / About Spring/Summer Programs

At Mark Zarbo Hockey our mission is to provide players of all ages & skill levels all-around development programs, flexible scheduling, affordable prices/incentives & best in class training. Players will not find another program that is able to provide all of those parameters at the level Mark Zarbo Hockey does in the WNY/Buffalo area.

We have designed our summer program to offer players training in all parts of the game and the ability to pick and choose programs and sessions so they can design a personalized program that fits their individual needs or schedule.

Our main programs include the Mite Development Program, Forward/Defense Hockey IQ Development Program, Girls ONLY! Programs and Midget-Junior Development Programs.

Players signed up for one the main programs are offered extensive discounts to round out their summer training.  These include discounts for the 3 v 3 Cross-Ice League ($185/player–normally $220), Small Group Skill Sessions ($17/session–topics include skating & stickhandling, overspeed skating, stickhandling & puck control, passing & puck movement and shooting), and Checking Programs ($55–normally $45).

Players also have the ability to sign up for any program separately without being in main program (3 v 3 Cross-Ice League, Skill Sessions, 2 Day Checking Camp).  Players signing up for Small Group Skill Sessions are able to pick and choose as many or few dates as they choose.  Players not in a main program are eligible for generous quantity discounts depending on how many sessions chosen.

Overall, our mission is to offer players the ability to make a summer program that fits their individual needs, scheduling flexibility and reasonable cost.

Example:  A player signed up for Hockey IQ Development Program, 3 v 3 Cross-ice League, and 15 Skill Sessions comes to 45 total hours of on-ice training. Applying discounts price per hour comes to $18.77/hour ice! This includes all the supplied video lessons, jersey & Front Discount Card that come with the Hockey IQ Program as well!
