March Checking Camps

The purpose of this camp is to teach players how to use checking to make themselves better, more complete players. We will focus on:

  • Correct checking technique

  • How to give and take a hit

  • Proper puck protection and body positioning

  • Using the body to create scoring chances or separate opponents from the puck

Players will be divided into small groups to ensure plenty of 1-on-1 instruction and repetitions. Groups will be based on age and level of play so players compete against others of similar caliber.
