🏒 Age Groups

2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 Birth Years

⚠️ 2018 Birth Years: 2018 birth years are eligible for both the Skating & Puck Control Camps (2016 – 2018 AAA/AA) and/or Mite Camps (2018 – 2021). It is suggested that lower level/newer 2018 players sign up for the Mite age group and that higher level/more experienced 2018 players sign up for the Skating & Puck Control Camp.

⚠️ No Beginners Please: These camps are not appropriate for beginner-level players. A beginner is defined as a player who has not yet proficient with basic skating skills of stops/starts, crossovers, tight turns, backward skating, basic puck control, and basic edge work. We assume all participants can perform these fundamental skills, as all practices and sessions are designed with this in mind.

⚠️ Battle Camp Eligibility: Players (2018 – 2020 birth years) should already possess a strong foundation of skating and puck skills. Those who are not yet strong in basic skating skills such as stops and starts, crossovers, tight turns, puck control, and edge work will likely struggle to keep up and compete effectively. For those players we suggest looking at our Mite Skating & Skills Camps and/or our Spring & Summer Skill Sessions to strengthen their skills foundation.

    🏒 Camp Objectives

    Mite Skating & Skills Camps

The purpose of this camp is to focus on foundational skating, edge work, and puck skills. Everything in hockey can be related back to a player’s ability to skate and handle the puck. These 2 things are the foundation for all other skills. For that reason, all practices & drills will focus on skating, puck handling, and puck control skills to build a foundation for future skill development.

Mite Battling & Puck Protection Camp

The purpose of this program is to introduce basic, age-appropriate body contact, battling, and puck protection skills. Once players have developed a strong foundation in skating, the next key step in their progression is learning how to battle for and protect the puck.
